Tigers Tackling Literacy

“Reading is crucial for middle school students as it significantly enhances their academic performance, cognitive development, and overall well-being. It improves language skills, boosts critical thinking, and fosters empathy, preparing them for future academic and personal success.”

DMS Media Center is offering a reading initiative for all students. Each quarter students who would like to participate would be required to read novels and complete projects throughout the school year. Students will be required to submit the required documentation each quarter to the Media Specialist (Ms. Chambers).
